Sequence of Grand Prix stallions from the direct line of Vannan
Emerald, Cardento and Kannan all have in common that they have jumped at the very highest level and produced offspring that belong to the crème de la crème of the top sport. Upton Field combines these three stallions and also goes back to a particularly successful damline. Granddam Quano One de l’Eaugrenee is in fact the dam of Jeanne Sadran’s top stallion Vannan. This Diamant de Semilly son was a world-class talent from day one and later proved his qualities at the very highest level. Furthermore, Upton Field’s granddam is also the dam of Grand Prix showjumping horses Comme One Z, Understood Z and Vertigo Z. Great-granddam Ursula de l’Eaugrenee, in her turn, gave the top showjumping horse Enjoleuse de l’Eaugrenee of British rider Richard Davenport and stood at the base of international success horses such as Caviar de l’Heribus, Abie de la Motte, D Cancarra A.C., E-Contefino A.C. and Tainted Love of Bellerose.
