Out of sister to Grand Prix horses Farona, Corona & Durango VDL
Baltic VDL is making his mark in breeding with a remarkable number of offspring at the very highest level, including Martin Fuchs’ world class Leone JEI, Ben Maher’s Faltic HB and McLain Ward’s Ilex. Another Grand Prix example of Baltic VDL is Daniel Coyle’s Farona; this colt Ugaki DBL is a son of Baltic VDL out of the half-sister of the successful Farona. In addition, dam Herona herself is the full sister of the Grand Prix showjumper and KWPN approved stallion Durango VDL and also the half-sister of 1.60m showjumper Corona. Ugaki DBL’s damline has produced dozens of international showjumpers over the years; for example, great-granddam Rebekka produced the famous Opstalan’s Power ridden by Albert Voorn and the late Hubert Bourdy, and furthermore, this is the line of Christina Liebherr’s L.B. Rendam and Marina Ehrnrooth’s Evli Luikka.
